Vinita Bhansali’s journey is a tale of resilience, passion, and an unyielding pursuit of her dreams. Born and raised in western Rajasthan, her early years spent traveling across the majestic state shaped her aesthetic and deepened her understanding of Indian craft and artisanship.

Though her dream of founding her own fashion house was delayed, her time as a homemaker nurtured her appreciation for the sensitivities of traditional Indian women’s fashion. In 2018, at the age of 42, Vinita took a leap of faith and launched her label, realizing a vision decades in the making.

A self-taught designer, Vinita’s creations are inspired by her traditional roots and contemporary sensibilities. Her designs reflect a unique blend of Rajasthan’s rich crafts—such as those once reserved exclusively for royalty—and modern silhouettes. Known for its regal textured finish, Dori Marodi was once reserved exclusively for royal attire.
